A woman was seriously hurt after being 'hit by a taxi' in Didsbury. Police were called to reports of a pedestrian being hit by a car on Wilmslow Road near the junction with Parrs Wood Avenue on Thursday afternoon.
The Manchester Evening News previously reported that an eyewitness at the scene said the woman was hit by a taxi. On Thursday a spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said she was taken to hospital from the scene with head injuries.
COMMENT. The 'TAXI' was in fact a Wolvewrhampton PH Car and the report says it hapened in Didsbury i9nstead of East Didsbury.
