Hi Everyone,
We have a "MR" member who drives a Vito and it was taken in for service to the main dealer who fully serviced it and it left the garage with only 20k on the clock, he drove it about 10 minutes and a couple of miles and then:
The engine went on full revs for about 2 - 3 seconds while approaching the traffic lights there was a pop sound and now the garage are saying the turbo went and supplied the engine will a blast of fuel which has now blown the engine, this was before easter and he was told it would be a week, no worries it is still under warranty and it won't cost him anything.
The week passed and he rang for the say so to pick it up, sorry not done can't get the engine !!, there is not one in the country !!! and it will be another week, he hoping to collect this week Wednesday/Thursday/Friday.
Just wondered was this a general fault with the new Vito !?
