A double decker bus and taxi were involved in a crash which brought disruption to a major city centre road.
Merseyside Police were called to the junction of Pembroke Street and Anson Street on London Road at around 1.30pm on Saturday 18 March, following reports of the two vehicles colliding. Police confirmed to the ECHO that a bus and what appeared to be a Hackney-style cab were involved in a road traffic collision.
Minor injuries were sustained in the incident with ambulance vehicles and paramedics also in attendance. Pictures show damage to the passenger doors of the Arriva 10A bus with significant damage also caused on the front right hand side of the taxi.
COMMENT; The driver should have switched the top light after the bump. You cannot ply for hire in a smashed Cab.
