TAXI cabs in Swindon will now carry military-grade emergency bandages to help injured passengers.
A window sticker will tell the public and paramedics if the life-saving first aid equipment is on-board.
The charity Rapaid has distributed and donated the kits to cabs around Swindon’s town centre as well as the John Moulton Community Hall, the Deer’s Leap and Blunsdon Arms pubs, and the Haydon Centre and Gym.
Haydon Centre manager Ash Giles said: “We are very much in the heart of the community, and we support this initiative in light of the terrible recent events. We are more than happy to display a Rapaid window sticker allowing the public to know they have access to these lifesaving bandages."
