Please note that the temporary “one-way” traffic diversions established on both Village Way and also Trafford Wharf Road in June including all associated traffic management, signage and guarding, has been set up with the prior approval and support from Trafford MBC Highways as the Local Highways Authority using legal Temporary Traffic Restriction Orders. These necessary arrangements are to ensure that Project works can all be carried out safely whilst maintaining a through-route for all traffic.
Any failure to adhere to the temporary road signs and/or abuse of the “one-way” systems can be reported to Greater Manchester Police and may result in further action being taken.
Please could you share this information to your suppliers and haulage companies to ensure that they are aware of the upcoming changes?
