Police Appeal for Hackney Carriage Driver Witness to Come Forward.
Police are investigating a murder and violent disorder that took place in
the early hours of Saturday 30 September 2017 in the area of the city
centre around John Dalton Street/Ridgefield close to the Suburbia venue.
The driver of a light coloured hackney carriage with a large picture on the
near side of the vehicle picked up a passenger in close proximity to this
location at approx 03-00hrs on 30 September. The destination of the
journey was Brackley Avenue, Hulme. If you were the driver of that vehicle
or can assist in identifying either the vehicle or driver involved, the
Police would like to speak to you as you may hold vital information that
would assist in their enquiries.
