Some of you will know that I now live in Llandudno. Most mornings I have a stroll along the seafront, before having a coffee or breakfast in town. This morning I walked along the pier and took this shot of the Grand Hotel, and the Snowdonia mountains behind. I can honestly say that on days like this I don't miss ranking up on Baring St. Or any other rank come to that.

A terrific photo, the promenade looks empty. Did they know you were coming? ;)I was talking to an old driver and he was telling me about the number of retired cabbies that live in your neck of the woods.

I live a 5 minute walk from the prom, and 15 minutes walk from the pier. It's a totally different world, everyone is so friendly. It's hard to explain, but I haven't heard a cross word or the irate beeping of a car horn since moving here.Strange things happen, like as you approach a pedestrian crossing, the cars stop and wait before you get there. Bus drivers halt their buses and wait for you, if you are near the stop and signal that you want the bus. All in all, a different world. I took this pic at about 7.30 this morning.
