Pissed myself this morning. I was 2nd cab on MRI. A wheelchair came to the first cab, but came to his ramp door, which on the MRI rank is in the middle of the road. The driver got out of his cab and explained to his passenger that it was to dangerous to load in that position.

He was right to do this and was very polite when explaining this position. He ask the wheelchair passenger and his helper to go to the kerb on the other side of the road and he would bring the cab over and load against the much higher kerb.

I was rather pleased, and thought what a professional, a credit to the trade.

The driver got in his cab, did a U turn and drove to the other side of the road, and stopped with his drivers door next to the kerb. You can not make this up. I know you will not believe me so I took this pic.

I can confirm from the picture that he has been on the job for approx that time, he knows "Omar" and anyone who knows me would know that a few years back I had a good friend call Omar, he stopped driving because Diabetes took his two big toes and stopped him, he went on too other things, Bowlers car boot on Sunday (makes more than me now).

He was one of his friends and is related to Caz (both live in lady barn) who drove with us years ago at Supa Cars, I do have to say he was a bit dopey back then !!!!.

but like you say, you could not write it but "dopey then and dopey now"
